Trump Named TIMES Person of the Year

Donald Trump was named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year for the second time! (2016 and 2024)

2016

Trump was selected as Person of the Year after his unexpected victory. Time described this recognition as not an endorsement but an acknowledgment of his significant influence on global events. Th Donald called the recognition a “great honor.”

2024

Trump was once again named Person of the Year after securing the presidency for a second term. They’ve attempted to charge him with 82 criminal counts to date, he’s survived at least 2 assassination attempts, and had a campaign budget $700million less than his opponent. This is well deserved. Time highlighted Trump’s influence on American politics and policy, noting his plans for mass deportation of illegals, pardoning January 6th rioters, and his approach to international conflicts like those in Ukraine and the Middle East. The magazine’s editor-in-chief, Sam Jacobs, emphasized that Trump’s influence, whether viewed positively or negatively, was undeniable.

The Donald will go down as one of, if not, THE greatest president of the United States of America.

Congressman says Drones Flying over New Jersey are Iranian

A New Jersey GOP Congressman, Jeff Van Drew, has claimed that the mysterious drones spotted over New Jersey are of Iranian origin. According to Van Drew, these drones are being launched from an Iranian “mothership” positioned off the U.S. East Coast. He said that he has “very high, very qualified sources”.

Van Drew’s Claims

During an interview with Fox News he mentioned that Iran has a deal with China to purchase drones and related technology, which could be behind these incidents.

Pentagon’s Response

The Pentagon, however, refuted these claims. Sabrina Singh, a Pentagon spokesperson, explicitly stated there is no Iranian ship off the U.S. coast acting as a “mothership” for drone launches. The Pentagon emphasized that there is no evidence these drones are linked to any foreign adversary, including Iran.

Public and Official Reactions

The FBI has been investigating these drone sightings SINCE NOVEMBER but has not concluded their origin or purpose, admitting they have little information.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and other state officials have stated there’s no known threat to the public at the moment.

It’s astonishing that SUV-sized drones aren’t considered an immediate national security threat. If Iran is involved, we should impose a 300% tariff on them and any country that supported this project. Imagine a governor dismissing the threat while Iranian drones potentially fly over your kids’ school. Thankfully, in Florida, we have DeSantis.

Luigi Mangione Charged in United Healthcare CEO’s Shooting

Brian Thompson, the CEO of the American UnitedHealthcare company, was shot and killed on December 4, 2024, outside the New York Hilton Midtown hotel in Manhattan while going to an annual investors’ meeting. Luigi Mangione, a 26-year-old from Maryland, was arrested five days later in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and charged with second-degree murder in connection with Thompson’s death.

Background on Luigi Mangione

Mangione graduated as valedictorian from Gilman School in Baltimore and later attended the University of Pennsylvania, where he earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in engineering. He was involved in tech, including roles as a data engineer. Mangione comes from a wealthy family with real estate ties in Maryland worth an estimated $50-100 million. He had no prior criminal history before this incident.

The Incident

Thompson was shot early in the morning while leaving the hotel. The assailant, identified as Mangione, used a 3D-printed pistol with a 3D-printed suppressor, firing three shots at Thompson.

Mangione fled the scene on a bicycle into Central Park, later ditching his backpack and taking a taxi to a bus station. He was eventually recognized by a McDonald’s employee from media-distributed images and arrested while eating at a McDonalds in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Evidence

At the time of his arrest, Mangione was found with the suspected murder weapon, a 3D-printed ghost gun, along with a silencer, fake IDs, and a U.S. passport. He also had handwritten documents, described as a manifesto, criticizing the health care industry for prioritizing profit over care.

Motive

While no definitive motive has been established, the documents on Mangione suggest he harbored resentment towards corporate America, specifically the health insurance sector. There is public speculation that Mangione might have had personal grievances related to health care, including his own back surgery.

Public and Legal Response

There has been a polarized public reaction; some view Mangione’s actions as a drastic response to healthcare issues, leading to online fundraisers for his legal defense, while others condemn the act. Mangione is fighting extradition from Pennsylvania to New York, where he faces murder charges.

Mangione has been denied bail in Pennsylvania and is resisting extradition to New York. His legal team, including attorney Thomas Dickey, has questioned the evidence linking Mangione directly to the crime.

This guy’s clearly been brainwashed by liberal ideologies at his university. He shouted at reporters, calling it a betrayal of Americans and their ‘lived experience’—classic liberal buzzwords. Why is it that the crazies always seem to be liberals, trans, or both?

When conservatives stood up for American values, we did it through voting in the booth, campaigning for our local representative, and hard work. The left, on the other hand, leans on destruction, violence, and theft to push their agenda
